Sartle Team members from near and far tore themselves from their laptops and assembled IRL last Thursday, near our office in San Francisco.  We met at The Interval by the Long Now Foundation, right here in Fort Mason and sipped cocktails while strategizing over new Sartle categories coming this fall:  “Creepy Crawlies” vs. “Heebie Jeebies,” and other heavy decisions. The intellectual environment (and yummy libations) spurred our Sartle think tank.

Designers, writers, developers, and editors, all together at last!

This unique bar features artwork, a library, and a massive clock made of precious stones and metal which mirrors the movements of planets in our galaxy.  Far out, dude.

Hand-sewn booklets containing soon-to-be Sartle Categories.

Editor Angelica indulges in a very pink Daiquiri No. 5.

“Should we or should we not add Bro Nips as a category?”

Thanks to the folks at The Interval and the Long Now Foundation! Be sure to check this place out next time you’re in Fort Mason. And give us a holler, we’re right across the way.
