I'm an artist who works across drawing, painting, and sculpture, using the still life to explore how mainstream ideas about womanhood and social class intersect. I've taught at San Francisco Art Institute, Root Division, and Art School LLC.

What is your favorite museum?

The New Museum in NYC is a favorite. I also love the Museum of Capitalism, a pop-up artist project.

What’s the best Halloween costume you’ve ever had?

I was George Bush's paintings one year--my scariest one yet!

If you could step into any painting what would you pick and why?

There's a little-known Czech painter named Vaclav Vaca, who made these incredibly trippy, glitzy, surrealist Unicorn paintings in the 1980s. I was obsessed with them as a child. Hands down, it would be one of those!
