Erica is sometimes a musician and sometimes a visual artist, but most of time you can find her in the library. She likes art so much she got a BA in Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her interests include making awkward conversation in English and German, petting cats, reading science fiction, and rethinking her life decisions on a daily basis.

If you could have your portrait made by any artist, whom would you choose, and why?

Hans Baldung Grien, because I'd love to be recast as a 16th century witch.

What’s the best Halloween costume you’ve ever had?

50 shades of grey. I attached 50 different grey paint chips from Lowe's to a white shirt.

What’s the weirdest job you ever had?

I was once a set painter at an outdoor amphitheater. I contributed to Shrek: The Musical.
