A chocolate chip cookie baking lover of all things art history. Emma is currently pursuing her Master’s in art history from Wayne State University. When not working on her master’s thesis, Emma enjoys reading and playing with her six month old puppy, Crouton.

What pets have you had?

When I was in middle school I had a tiny aquatic frog named Ace who lived in a square aquarium with an even smaller snail. They lived for 7 years and we never cleaned the tank. At the end of 2020, I got a mini American shepherd puppy!

If you could step into any painting what would you pick?

A Bar at the Folies-Bergère - It looks like such a fun place! But also to ask the barmaid if she wants that guy to leave her alone.

How do you like to spend your free time?

In my free time, I like to read fiction, bake desserts, practice yoga, and play sand volleyball.

If you could have your portrait made by any artist, whom would you choose?

Titian - is there anyone more beautiful than a Venetian courtesan when painted by Titian?!
