Ashley Gardini is an architectural historian teaching at community colleges in the San Francisco Bay Area. While her specialization is in Italian Futurist architecture, she teaches the history of architecture from its beginnings to the present… and loves every minute of it.

What is your favorite museum?

If I have to choose one, it's the Getty Institute in Los Angeles. I absolutely love its architecture and garden!

Where is your happy place?

Anywhere gray and foggy.

What pets have you had?

 Lots - cats, fish, mice, and the most adorable dog.
