Janka comes from a small European country, Slovakia (not Slovenia, thank you very much), but has travelled the world to gain all that juicy art knowledge. That's how she came to be a Master of Art History and more than excited to share all her art knowledge with you. She currently lives in Italy, the epicenter of art, but wants to stay connected to whatever's happening in the rest of the art world! 

What is your favorite museum?

Probably the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, but that might be a biased opinion since I worked there for a while. I also loved visiting the Fondazione Prada in Milan.

Who would you choose to paint your portrait?

For a portrait I would choose Whistler, because he could capture the atmosphere and the psychology of the sitter, but also clothing it in beautiful colour palettes, textures, and brushstrokes.

What’s your favorite word?

Camouflage!

What would you steal if you could pull off a heist?

Of course I could pull off a heist! I've watched the Oceans movies way too many times. I would definitely try to snatch a Fabergé egg. Or a Manet painting.
