Every Galleria Girl’s favorite movie Clueless was released on July 19th 1995 and 20 years later we’re still totally butt crazy in love.

Clueless has become as classically vintage as Cher’s 1972 columns with traces of the surprise hit still prominent in our sporadic use of the dope vocabulary, the re-emergence of crop tops, and the disaster that is Malibu.

While Clueless continues to direct new generations towards the mall, this Austen-inspired comedy could just as easily lead to totally pausing at the museum. Whether its through Mr. Horowitz’ “well-rounded collection”  or a script referencing Tai’s Botticelli babedom, the film is brimming with art for those who pay attention. So check it.

Tai and the young woman in Portrait of a Young Woman by Sandro Botticelli are total Betties. RIP Brittany Murphy.

This “very important piece” reminds us a lot of the work of Henry Moore.

Mr. Horowitz’s art investment appears to include a Michelangelo and a piece by Albert Giacometti.
